Crystal Orb

This is a prequel or introduction theme to the Dark Adventure instrumental called Crystal Orb. It has a nice and relaxing feel with a magical atmosphere. Please have a listen... :)

2008

Dark Adventure

The name of the new piece is called Dark Adventure, and it is inspired from an old SEGA game from 1991 called GoldenAxe 2. The melody has a nice old fantasy feel to it, while the genre is highly electronica with cool drums and catchy effects. So please, enjoy! :)

Thalion

Another free from MIDI instrumental of the rock/metal genre, with progressive rythms and guitars.

A nightly downtempo instrumental called Under the stars, with heavy rythms and a nice melody.

Adurian

Adurian is an instrumental song I made many years ago, but I never wrote it down or recorded it.. thats until now. :) This is a fully accoustic non-midi instrumental, with 60's rytms and guitar and flutes. Please have a listen.. :)

Wave of the Stream

A kind of semi-instrumental accoustic techno, featuring the voice of Alan Watts... and me playing transversal flute and hand drums. ;) Please have listen, it has a deeper message.

Over the Sea

My first attempt at making a techno instrumental... "What? Alinya making techno music??" Well, it has some catchy tunes and a nice melody though, so I guess its worth a listen.

Be Like Water

I decided to drop the midi composing and give the old recording style a try agian, using my synth playing every instrument instead of mouse clicking each note. I had fun composing this song, though perhaps not of the finest quality.. suppose I need some practice playing the synth. Featuring Bruce Lee, this song is a pure free from midi song.

Kinky Boy's Journey

The weird journey of Kinky Boy.. :P Just some funny instrumental music.

Eat Me

This is a different song in genre from what I'm used to compose; a bit fancy and psychedelic instrumental with hip hop rythms and weird sounds.. :P

The Way of Least Resistance

Metalish instrumental featuring Alan Watts, one of the leading mystics and philosophers of the 20th century. What more can I say, have a listen.. ;)

Peyote

Peyote, named after the sacred psychedelic cactus used by the Indians of Mexico in their medicin and their rituals, gaining insights of divine beauty and wisdom. You can read more about it at http://peyote.org :)

Valley of the Eagle

Here is another song called Valley of the eagle, please have a listen. A lot of time spent mixing it, ajusting volum and panning, and the soundquality is rather nice, compared to the earlier soundfonts I've used.

2005

Nature's Bounty

Reading an interview with Rob King (composer) on his music of the Heroes of Might and Magic games, the interviewer asked Rob if he had done the music of an old game called King's Bounty (prequel to the Heroes games), and he pointed out that he had the music of that game stuck on his head over the last 10 years. Rob King had not been involved with the game. I had never tried the game, but as the music from Heroes of Might and Magic series is among my favourites and King's Bounty beeing the prequel, I decided to check it out. I was very dissapointet hearing the music. It was of bad quality and it was looping at a very short interval.. you may listen to it here. But then I got the idea of improving it, or making a remix. :)

So I made a remix or a new instrumental, using the main melody as inspiration...

Its very different from the original.

Autumn Song

I made this song using ModPlug Tracker, a freeware music making program which I have little experience with, but it was fun to try something different from the usual midi-composing.

Crazy Warrior

This is my first instrumental song of the metal genre, with a crazy mix of folk music.

Ancient Egypt

A song reflecting memories of forgotten times, in the lands of ancient Egypt. An experiment in making music using egyptian musical scales.

Little Town by the Forest

Well, I guess the title of the song in it self is description enough. This is a kind of role playing game town theme.

I Can Fly

An attempt to make a song somewhat similar to the Final Fantasy airship-style... a kind of RPG instrumental used for flying.

The Weapon Shop

This is a song I made by using voice samples from Might and Magic VII (RPG). It took me a lot of time mixing all the voice samples together. This song has a humorous feel! :)

Hehe, I was really bored one day, as a result i composed this funny instrumental song ;) It has a kind of experimental style...

I composed this little piece for a friend of mine, hopefully she liked it :)

En liten trall (a little troll)

This little piece I made waiting for dinner one day. *Gets the image of a happy little brownie/leprechaun singing and jumping around* :P

Ice Craft (remix)

A litte remix of the IceCap-theme from Sonic the Hedgehog, with a touch of War Craft II style music.

Little Monster

An experimental song, with some of the same style as Drolly. Yeah, its a MIDI-song, and the sound quality will depend on which your soundcard you're using, but I like it. :)

Haunted

Well, this was my second attempt at making dark music, though this time with a mark of horror...

The Crypt

A dark and gloomy instrumental with a mark of death and long forgotten times of glory...My first attempt to make this kind of music, and I'm very satisfied with the result.

Happy Little Adventure

This is an old composition... but I like it :)
Happy medieval/Zelda-like melody...

Dark Battle Army

This piece have a story line of a war between humans and the great army of Darkness... seen through the eyes of the dark side. Eventually the army of Darkness wins ;)

The Old Tavern

I came up with this melody one summer while riding on horses in the mountains with some friends, back in 2002. I quickly recorded it in midi with my keyboard.. Rather bad quality, but a cozy melody ;)

Tuli (The Flower)

Tuli is an old but nice song i like very much, composed for an early girlfriend of mine :) The name, Tuli, is of the Elven language Lindiel; and you could transelate it as The Flower. A little yellow flower is the symbolism of this song, with a touch of love.

Eventyr (Adventure)

An old instrumental I made by Christmas 2000. As most of my keyboard recordings its of bad quality, though I like the melody very much.

Tas (Tasslefodd Burrfoot)

Yet an old song of mine recorded from my keyboard... This song I made inspired by reading Dragonlance to give a feeling to the little kender, Tasslehoff Burrfoot (one of the main characters in the books).

Malindien

Another old song composed for a friend of mine back in 2000... Her name was Malindien :) Bad quality and recording...
